Also, in list of options towards service, one of the very important methods, I feel, is of “character building”.. Apart from distinct individual character, the need of the hour is to have a strong “national character” inculcated in children of modern generation. Let us inspire them to put the nation before the self and once this happens they themselves will find different ways to work wonders..

Finally, a word of caution.. we need to encourage/support service that is really selfless with no expectations in returns (on the lines of “karmanyeva adhikaaraste, maa phaleshu kadaachana”).. service with the ulterior motives of politics and conversions end up doing more harm than good..

India contributed the Nalanda, an oldest university-system of education to the world. Every Indian can be proud of this. While marching with these glorious thoughts we could not brushed away the awful scenes in the present educational systems. This is the right time to reform our systems with the service motive.
