Education and Moral Values

Students are the future of our Nation. We are taught moral lessons at home and in school such as love  fellow human beings, respect elders, no wrong things should be done, never speak lies, love your country, don’t be jealous etc. But nowadays everywhere crime flourishes. We see corruption; old people are sent out of home and  treated badly. People are unaware of the truth. Jealousy has become the overall base of life.

The importance of life should not be taught, but should be trained. We want to have the training through which we develop the feelings of Nationalism and cultivate moral values in our lives. Besides Education, we should be deeply involved in such works through which we develop feelings of love and brother-hood.  It is the responsibility of our parents and teachers to make future builders of the Nation.

In olden days we used to have “Gurukul” type of Education system in India. The students of gurukul lived a life of tutelage and learnt everything taught by their guru with love and also by putting in lot of hard work . In the gurukul every student was treated equally irrespective of caste and economical status. The students are supposed to leave their homes and their loved More >

Role of Media

Media plays an important and constructive role in the society. They help us to know current affairs on the spot. They put their lives in danger during a terrorist attack or a natural disaster, just to inform us about it. It is partly because of the media that there is awareness spreading in the Society. That is how many Countries are able to contribute to the affected areas. Who are the people who tell us about corruption? Who are the people who tell us about the crimes? It is the media that does it.

Today some news channels and even some newspapers have become the mouthpiece of some Political parties and political leaders. Their work then limits the media only to spread the ideology of the particular party they represent rather than giving the correct news. People have to judge on their own by surfing different channels for the same news and then arrive at a conclusion. Now a day’s some television channels and newspapers are making fast money by cashing on the news in wrong sense and wrong way. In the race to become more popular and to make more money they have broken all the ethics media must follow while More >

Blaming

Put In your effort instead of passing the blame

Why do people put blame on others?  Perhaps it’s the easiest and the most obvious thing we do when things don’t go according to our plan. We have it in our mind by default that mistakes are always made by others and not by us. It’s a dangerous presumption because our conscience knows that blaming others is an act of hiding the insecurity created by our knowledge of having committed something wrong.

Very often we find our politicians blaming each other for the silly reasons. This is the sorry state of affairs in our Country. They assert that if they or any of their kith and kin had been in Power, nothing would have been amiss. They do nothing for the benefit of the common man when they or any of their kith and kin actually get a Position of Authority, they prove to be no different from others. It’s not only our politicians but every one of us find it very simple to state that the people in Power are not doing anything. We are delighted to put forward our views regarding our vision and the change that would be brought about if we were put in their shoes. We hardly More >

Education and the Importance

India will soon be celebrating it’s  64th Independence day. We had broken the shackles of slavery 64 years ago at  the stroke of midnight. There have been many changes that have taken place in these 64 years. We never had adequate food grains to feed the entire population way back in 1947. We had a mere literacy rate of 12%. We were an under developed Nation and completely backward in the field of science and technology etc.

Now we are categorized as one of the fastest developing Nations. We have been successful in attaining literacy rate of 74.04%. By the virtue of Green revolution, White revolution etc, we are slowly but steadily improving our capacity to feed the entire population. We have been able to make a mark in the field of science and technology in addition to many milestones in other fields. The World has surely realized our potential and we are now almost geared up to accomplish our sweet dream / mission of being a developed Nation and then a Super power.

We have to achieve more. Our Country is just 64 years young and that we had two centuries of dreadful bondage. It was a saga of prosperity and rich heritage More >
